Things to see/do in Romney WV area?
My family will be traveling to Timberline Mountain, WV June 20-25 to escape our FL heat. We'll pass close to Romney and thought we'd stop there for lunch and see where our ancestors settled so long ago. Any suggestions on things to see or do? Any old Blue cemeteries or homesteads? Is it known where John Blue (1691-1770) first settled? I noticed there's a John Blue bridge and a Blues Beach. Thanks-Jeff

Thanks Ted. I'll contact Ephraim. I read the reunion reports which gave me several possibilities for our stop. I have several copies of Hanging Rock Rebel and have read it. I also have History of Hampshire County WV by Maxwell and Swisher. I'll try to include a trip to NJ to see sites there in the future. Thanks again - Jeff
