My Blue genes came to Walla Walla Washington in 1910 when my grandfather, JAMES Blue and my great grandfather, Amos Blue brought the family here. My mother was born here in 1911, the 7th child and only girl. She married my father, Clifford Irwin here in 1932 and my sister, Arlene was born here in 1934 and I was born here in 1938. I still live in Walla Walla and was introduced to the NBFA by Bill Blue of Seattle. I retired from the Walla Walla Fire Dept. in 1989 after serving 20 years and with the rating of "Mobile Intensive-care Paramedic" .
